Home Based Special Opportunities Holding Private Limited (HBSOH) was founded in Harare, Zimbabwe and has operating locations in Beatrice (Mashonaland East) has been independently owned by its current management since 2017. Our company name was inspired by indigenisation and land reform policies undertaken in the country and it still perfectly matches the ambition of our organization.
Did you know that the name Home Based means “where we are from or our ‘‘Home”? The name was chosen to reflect the relationship the company founders have with their origins and the role the company has in its dedication to building with its indigenous roots, its key customers/clients and most importantly is employees. We strive for our customers/clients and our employees to feel at ‘‘home’’ when they are working with us. Through quality, customised attention and proactive participation in the daily work activities whether in production supply, equipment capacitation, marketing and selling, the services that we provide have come to be viewed as an integral part of our customers/clients’ operations.
HBSOH is the brainchild of a group of ambitious young Zimbabwean entrepreneurs who are inspired by the empowerment of young Zimbabweans in their country. We are passionate about building sustainable farming in Zimbabwe and growing investment in the local community. We currently have 6 key farmers who manage the farm on a full-time basis proud to be contributing to the farming community in Beatrice and serving the Harare and connected regions.
